What We Do

What's New at AHEAD
To battle the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, the School-Based
Health Action Group, coordinated by AHEAD, will expand into the Hempstead
Public school district this year.

New Inductee: Target Stores
Currently, Target Stores allows its pharmacists who are opposed to
birth control to refuse to fill valid prescriptions for contraceptives.
AHEAD on Health

Exposure to pesticides in the school environment is a health risk facing
